FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ETOBICOKE – Today, the Ontario PC Party announced that Kinga Surma has been acclaimed as the party’s candidate for Etobicoke Centre in the next provincial general election.

Since her election as MPP for Etobicoke Centre in 2018, Kinga has secured significant investments in local infrastructure, including new schools, housing developments and improved roads and transit systems. Her leadership also has helped create better-paying jobs and expand opportunities in the skilled trades, ensuring a stronger future for the community.

“Kinga has worked tirelessly to deliver real results for the people of Etobicoke Centre,” said Doug Ford, Leader of the Ontario PC Party. “She has been a driving force behind major transit and infrastructure projects that are helping to connect communities and create jobs, all while securing Ontario’s future growth. Kinga is fighting to keep costs down for families and businesses, standing up against the Liberal carbon tax, and making sure our communities remain safe. I know she’ll continue to work hard for her community.”

Together, Kinga and the Ontario PC Party will continue to get it done for Etobicoke by building roads and highways, training workers for better jobs and bigger paycheques, and attracting investments that fuel economic growth.

“I’m incredibly honoured to represent the people of Etobicoke Centre,” said Surma. “I look forward to continuing the work we’ve started—building better transit, roads, homes, and infrastructure that will improve the quality of life for families, support businesses, and keep our communities safe.”
